INTRODUCTION

Penny's Violin Studio is the perfect place for anyone looking to learn the violin or improve their existing skills. I am originally from Shanghai, China and attended East China Normal University where I earned a Bachelors of Music degree. I have also traveled to multiple countries, while performing with the Shanghai City Symphony Orchestra. Later, I moved to the United States to study at the University of Texas-Austin where I received a Masters of Music degree in Violin Performance. In addition, I am a Certified Suzuki teacher.

At Penny's Violin Studio, where I have been teaching since 2010, I work with students of all ages and skill levels in the pursuit of musical excellence. Whether preparing for an orchestra audition or a national competition, I strive to provide my students with an educational experience that is enjoyable, accessible, and effective. As a certified Suzuki teacher, I ensure that my lessons are tailored to each student's individual goals and abilities. I invite you to come and explore the world of violin with me.
